GTViewer for iOS provides disconnected GIS Data viewing, redlining, and data collection on iPhones and iPads.  The defining difference between GTViewer for iOS and GTWeb Client for iOS is that the data is local (on the device) for GTViewer and accessed through the internet or intranet for GTWeb.   This difference may seem trivial, but it means GTViewer for iOS runs completely independent of a network connection (once the data has been downloaded), providing a fully disconnected data viewing experience on the iOS device. Disconnected data is ideal for situations where network connectivity is not available, intermittent, slow, or expensive.
